The LUXONIX Ravity (S) 1.4 is a software model of a synthesizer sound rompler based on the PCM synthesizers module and is a plug-in for users to host music programs that provides them with extra sound-editing capabilities.
Users are presented with an interface that many will find familiar to them, which immediately gives them access to the filter, filter envelope, and an amp envelope that can be linked to certain patch layers. They can also control whether they want effects switch on or off, can switch between presets, save their work or undo their last move, all in the first interface view. Pressing the edit button takes to the first Layer page where the program offers a 3-xlot effects section, an arpeggiator, and 2 oscillators with openings to the choice of over 180 wave forms. This page also features a filter, filter and amp envelopes and an LFO.
The LFO features 5 basic wave forms. Users can control rate and synchronize timing levels with the BPM sync. Many sounds are featured within this plug-in including pianos, woodwinds, guitars etc. The filter section has user selectable octave slopes, and the 3-slot effects section offers the choice of 24 effects, which include different delays. Finally, the LUXONIX Ravity (S) 1.4 has 4 individual Layer pages, each with an independent arpeggiator and LFO, providing a total 8 oscillators and 15 effects as well as 447 expandable pre-sets.
